Macy's Announces Nicole Richie Collection for Fall '12
Nicole Richie recently confirmed that she is working on two new product categories of House of Harlow 1960 but what she didn't reveal is that she has also been hard at work on another big line. Today WWD reports that the 'Fashion Star' judge has signed on to design a limited-edition capsule collection for Macy's.
'Nicole is pretty savvy when it comes to the fashion business and understanding consumers. She’s a real fashion influencer,' Martine Reardon, Macy’s Inc.’s chief marketing officer, told WWD. 'She’s got a very definitive look, very free style and bohemian chic, and our collection will definitely pay homage to her style.'

Twice as Nice
At last night's Met Gala Rihanna confirmed that her plan to launch her own label is well underway. In the meantime, though, she's continuing to lend her designing skills to Armani. Yesterday the brand announced that the singer has designed another capsule collection for both Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani underwear. The collection, which will feature everything from denim shorts with tartan rolls up to simple tanks and tops, will hit stores worldwide next April.

We've all coveted his shoes and now Brian Atwood is expanding his line to include handbags. The small collection is being sold exclusively on Gilt for the next three days and is sure to sell out. I'm especially loving the color pallette that was chosen. Cobalt blue, bright greens, and salmon are the biggest color trends this season and this collection features all of these colors.
